Don’t spin me with any talk about returns; plain and simple, you’re using your principal to bet on protocol subsidies and governance incentives. The “profits” are like the top tier of a modular narrative, like the ceiling of the story, or like a variant of an air-coin—looks grand, but once you poke it, it bursts. What about the risks? Underlying-asset volatility, protocol vulnerabilities, and liquidity drying up—any random black swan can leave you in a bad way. Anyway, I don’t believe in this “interest-bearing” myth; getting cash in your pocket is the real deal.
