Hey, I was just looking at a protocol’s data, and the page kept loading with a spinning circle for almost ten seconds before it showed up. I thought the node might be down. After checking, it was most likely RPC rate limiting or a Subgraph sync delay. In plain terms, the API on the other side was too busy, and the data source got stuck.

Lately, with all the token unlock drama—people post the unlock calendar every day—it makes me nervous every time I check my holdings. And at a time like this, the data also likes to “freeze” for a moment. When it finally refreshes, my heart is racing. The truth is, it’s not that the node is dead; it’s that the pipeline for checking on-chain state got overwhelmed.

Whenever I run into something like this, I usually switch to a light client or run my own public RPC as a backup. If that still doesn’t work, I just wait five minutes and check again. Anyway, for a small-funds strategy, moving 5U doesn’t need to be done in that one second. I’ve just formed a habit: before every time I click refresh, I take a deep breath first… I’m going to water the plants now.
