After talking about modularity for so long, honestly, as a regular user, the changes I feel aren’t that big. Back then, cross-chain was annoying, and now it’s still the same: we still have to wait in line while the sequencer queues things up. Gas is still high—just as expected. And every now and then, you get pinned up during front-running; retail users are confused either way.



Anyway, modularity is a good thing for developers—on-chain data is split up, and the execution layer can be customized. But for end users, what they want is that transactions aren’t messed with and the slippage is a bit smaller. From what I can see, only the wallet experience has gotten a little smoother. As for the rest… let’s leave it at that. Anyway, I’m still too lazy to switch chains and tinker around.
