I just went back to scan authorizations again and revoked seven or eight unlimited-limit permissions that I don’t even know when I clicked. Honestly, this is just like checking the door lock before sleep—you know it’s probably fine, but if you don’t look, you feel uneasy all over. Seeing people treat transfers from exchange hot/cold wallets as a “smart money” signal and rush in after it, I can only say you’ve got nerves of steel—if contract permissions aren’t revoked, then one day they can empty your wallet without even sending a heads-up. I’ve also wrestled with whether to completely uninstall some protocols so I wouldn’t have to see them, but I decided to leave a few behind—sometimes as negative examples to remind myself not to get reckless with my hands. Anyway, spending five minutes checking permissions before bed is better than getting startled awake in the middle of the night.
