I just looked through a few social mining interfaces, and all those dazzling badges and levels made me feel suddenly pretty tired. This “decentralized identity” has slowly morphed into a new kind of performance evaluation system—staying up late to grind tasks for a shiny gold badge. Anyway, I’m a bit lazy.

Recently I’ve been watching that whole NFT royalty argument fest—both sides have points, but people still have to choose a venue that they can play without it feeling exhausting. I’ll just keep treating my positions like kindling: add slowly, and when I have time, go support projects that truly have creativity.

What about you? Are you going to rush after those point badges, or just pick and play?
