I just saw an on-chain transaction get front-runned by an MEV bot, and I was so mad I almost threw my keyboard. Honestly, this kind of “cutting in line” is really annoying—you clearly paid the gas, but they still push a high-price order ahead of you, and in the end you can only watch your profit get eaten by slippage. But when you cool down, it’s not really the bots’ fault either—it’s just that the right to order is swayed by money, and the small retail users inside get harvested like leeks.

Recently the community has been arguing again about privacy coins and mixers, and the compliance boundaries are making everyone pretty divided. I can understand both sides, but if you’re playing yourself, still be careful—don’t accidentally step over the line.
What I regret isn’t the outcome, but that I didn’t figure out how MEV works sooner—if I had set slippage in advance or used some anti-sniping tool, I probably wouldn’t have been screwed so badly. Anyway, farming is like this—you’ve got to pay tuition for the lesson, and next time you’ll remember.
