People think that a laid-back player like me has long since grown indifferent to the ups and downs. But in reality, when that small number of unrealized losses flickers, the number of times I roll over at night is more than double. Others think my mindset is steady like wood; in truth, the moment I think of news that a certain region is raising taxes, even the thought of taking U disappears—dwindles. I’m worried that during the deposit and withdrawal period things might get stuck halfway, and I’m even more afraid to not even look at my account. Forget it. Anyway, I’ll just keep adding to my position slowly, like kindling for a fire—burning more slowly is better than getting jolted awake in the middle of the night by being singed by a sudden flare.
