Honestly, everyone’s been talking about parallelization and sharding lately, and brand-new L1/L2 projects keep rolling out incentives one after another—TVL is shooting up. But as an old bagholder like me, I actually feel a little uneasy. Sure, it’s lively, but every time I see remarks about “mine-to-sell,” I’m reminded of the days when I got trapped in projects with overly high APRs. When it comes down to it, asset safety and the exit path matter more than any story. Anyway, I’d rather move slower now and not use my principal to bet on “they haven’t run off yet.” I don’t know if I’m right, but isn’t long-term thinking basically just about avoiding fewer traps? That’s it for now.
