To be honest, I’ve been seeing a bunch of projects lately hyping parallel execution and sharding—modules everywhere and a DA layer too. Developers talk about it all with a lot of energy, but for someone like me, a regular user, it just feels dizzying. In plain terms, no matter how lively these technical buzzwords are, what ultimately lands in my wallet boils down to two things: whether my assets are safe, and if I ever want to leave, whether the exit path is clear. Previously, a certain chain’s sharding rollout looked pretty flashy, but in the end, there was a problem with the bridge, and funds got stuck for days. I paid enough tuition to be scared. Now that I’m seeing new narratives, my first reaction isn’t excitement—I go first to check its cross-chain bridge audit and its liquidity situation. Anyway, even if developers blow everything up to the sky and users are left confused, I still believe: safety first, exit path second—everything else is just icing on the cake.
