Just saw people talking about MEV and “front-running,” and it’s pretty interesting. Some say it’s “taxation,” others say it’s “fair competition.” As far as I’m concerned, when it comes to on-chain ordering, in plain terms it’s whoever can grab the spot + whoever gets confirmed first. You spend gas, I race for speed—everyone says they respect the rules, but the reality is that front-running itself is already part of the rules. What’s even funnier is that they’re still playing that “nested doll” yield game with re-staking and shared security, dressing it up as “stacking.” If one day someone jumps in from behind and the gas fees get completely swept away, then that’s real drama. Anyway, I don’t need to be understood—I just want to say: don’t blame MEV. If you want to blame something, blame that the ordering mechanism hasn’t been changed yet. I’ll just watch for now; I’m not in a rush to board.
