Just finished scrolling through the discussion about restaking again. Honestly, I still haven’t fully figured out which parts of those fancy narratives actually make money. 🥲 I tried a little LST entry myself—the revenue basically comes down to middlemen capturing the spread plus project-side subsidies, plus some rewards from actively validating services (AVS). But the risks are also very clear: there are a bunch of smart-contract vulnerabilities, custodial centralization, and if the underlying protocol blows up, everything on top of it from restaking goes to zero. Recently, the privacy coin and mixer corner has been getting heated; the compliance boundaries are blurry, and if anyone asks, I wouldn’t touch it anyway. So I’ll keep being a vegetable farmer—plant some safe seeds first. For now, I’ll leave the narratives I don’t understand alone.
