I tried it once: I turned off my trading software and all social media notifications, leaving only a sound reminder. Every day, I just check the mood indicator charts twice—no other hot spots at all. As it happened, I managed to dodge the two sell-offs after the “bull market fast-track.” But for friends who chased hot topics, either they got phished, or when hardware wallets ran out of stock, they bought one back at a high price—only to find out they’d been trapped earlier. Plainly put, attention is the most expensive gas. Hot topics rotate from one to the next, and what gets cut are the ones with itchy hands. Now that this period of high phishing-link activity is in full swing, I actually think being more quiet is safer. Anyway, being a bit poor isn’t so bad either—I don’t have to worry about getting tricked on which chain by the “best project of the year.”
