Just watched a cross-chain transfer closely. It looks like a coincidence, but if you break down the route, it’s pretty straightforward. The timestamps differ by just a few seconds, and the contract interaction order is crystal clear. In plain terms, it’s an arbitrage bot taking advantage of the gas price differences between L2s. Now things are getting loud on Layer 2—“whoever’s faster is cheaper”—but the on-chain data is there, and when it actually flows, it’s still the same old routes. As for me, I’m just adding kindling, so I’ll take my time watching and occasionally join in—no need to stir up the commotion. That’s it for now—I’m going to add kindling.
