Just tested a new chain—its gas is so low it’s touching—then I went back and checked my wallet and realized that earlier, just to save a few cents, I carelessly clicked a signature authorization and almost put my seed phrase on a phishing site. Seriously, don’t learn from me. Sometimes saving that little gas fee is really not worth it compared to spending a few more seconds to confirm the authorization contract.

That recent public chain isn’t it about to do a hard fork? Everyone’s guessing whether ecosystem projects will migrate. I think that regardless of whether they move or not, the red line of wallet security should never be crossed.

Anyway, my habit now is: clear authorizations every two weeks, keep the seed phrase handwritten and locked in a drawer, and before signing, flip through the contract address first. I talk about saving money, but when I get trigger-happy with signatures, wallets really do get “allergic.”
