Tonight, I don’t know what happened— the mempool is jammed again. I just wanted to send a transaction, and when I saw the gas fee, it just made me completely lose it… Auction-style queueing is really torture: if you bid too low, you keep sitting there in “pending confirmation,” and if you bid high, you feel the pain of the fees. In the end, it’s just a probability game—if you’re lucky, the next block will include you, and if you’re unlucky, you’ll be waiting at least half an hour.

Honestly, on-chain security is also a major disaster area. Recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock in a way that’s outrageous. A few friends around me are scrambling to find channels, like they’re trying to get Maotai. At the same time, phishing links are being spammed everywhere; even Twitter DMs are not something you dare to click casually anymore. Everyone’s security awareness really needs to be dialed up—sometimes you think it’s just bad luck, but really it’s because you didn’t do enough protection.

Forget it, I’ll leave it at that. Hopefully the next block will include me 😂 Also, please recommend a useful mempool monitoring tool—I’ve been watching some new protocols lately, and manually refreshing is exhausting.
