Just saw an on-chain “coincidence” transfer: two addresses have no connection, and the timestamps aren’t even the same. Still, the money ended up in the same wallet a few hours later. I tried it once—just to figure out this kind of path, I even took out a notebook and recorded three days of on-chain interaction logs.

Later I found out that a lot of things really aren’t coincidences—it's path optimization done by MEV bots. Miners/validators earn ordering fees, while retail traders sit there and watch. In my experiment, I also stepped into a trap: I thought some big-hearted whale was carrying my transaction along, but it turned out they casually tacked on a sandwich attack. On-chain is transparent, but interpreting the path really does take patience.

Anyway, when I see this kind of transfer now, I immediately suspect it might be leftover routes from arbitrage or liquidation. Gardening—there are weeds in the field, so pull them out first.
