I recently noticed something: hot topics are rotating too fast. Today Layer 2 beats TPS with tomorrow’s subsidies, and it’s dizzying to watch. I used to always want to rush into the first wave, and the result was that 8 out of 10 times I got stuck up on the mountain top. Later I learned: slow down—watch what others trip over first. After all, hot topics won’t disappear overnight. Wait for emotions to cool, and then figure out who genuinely builds and who’s just riding the hype before taking action. To put it plainly, DeFi “farming” can’t mean chasing new seeds every day—first loosen the soil and remove the pests, then check the weather. As for the recent L2 comment wars, I treat them as entertainment and wait until they’re done fighting before I slowly choose. Anyway, with small capital, being half a step behind actually means getting “cut” less often.
