Sigh, it’s another day of information overload. There are 999+ group messages, and one KOL after another keeps sending “must-watch” posts. I read a few and almost accidentally tapped into a “new chain launch bonus.” Calm down and think about it—honestly, you really can’t put the blame for impulse buying entirely on your group friends or those big V accounts. Data tools may lag, and the tagging system can also be dressed up to look perfectly polished, but the most dangerous part is that you don’t have your own “backup” in your mind.

It’s like when I mess around with L2—I always need to keep a bit of gas in my wallet as a reserve. It’s not because I’m afraid the chain will suddenly get congested; it’s because I’m afraid my emotions will get the better of me and I’ll be led astray by some “exclusive insider” hype. Anyway, I’ve learned my lesson. Before every rush to buy, I ask myself three questions first: Is this data real-time? How much has this KOL personally bought? And does the “backup” I have in hand hold up enough to weather one wave of volatility after another? To put it plainly: information can be plentiful, but the decision is something you have to carry yourself.
