A lot of people are hyping up AI agents doing automatic interactions. Honestly, I’m pretty skeptical. People think they fully run off the mempool, adjust gas, sign transactions, and get it all done end to end—but what’s the reality? After what happened with cross-chain bridges, when the on-chain quotes got thrown into chaos and the contract state started to wobble, the AI just kept enumerating things there, and in the end, it all collapsed. Put simply: during those few seconds when the oracle’s price feed was abnormal, a person could spot that something was wrong at a glance, but the agent was still sitting there stupidly waiting for confirmation. Anyway, I’ve been watching gas for years, and what I fear most is “full automation.” Once the packaging rhythm changes and congestion comes in, you still have to manually switch nonces and adjust slippage. Forget it—let’s leave it at that.
