Stablecoins | The U.S. dollar is heading global through blockchain

📌 Today’s event: The United States continues to push for stablecoin regulation, and the market is also starting to focus on stablecoins’ use in cross-border payments, enterprise settlement, and financial services.

📈 Market impact: Stablecoins could become an important bridge between traditional finance and blockchain.

💬 My take:

Many people think stablecoins are just tools used when trading cryptocurrencies, but I believe their future potential is far more than that.

If businesses can complete cross-border payments quickly through blockchain, saving time and costs, then stablecoins could truly enter everyday finance.

That’s also why the U.S. is starting to actively build regulatory frameworks.

What’s interesting is that in the future, cryptocurrencies may not necessarily replace the U.S. dollar; instead, they may make the dollar easier to circulate globally through stablecoins.

For businesses, settling with stablecoins saves on fees and days of waiting—this is the efficient way to spread USD across the world. The U.S. regulatory crackdown clearly has its eyes on this slice of the cake.

Using dollars for a second expansion on the blockchain via stablecoins is actually the first time I’ve seriously thought about this angle—if regulation keeps up, it might be possible to build a brand-new global settlement system.

If stablecoins can truly unlock cross-border payments, the old cost-and-time setup of traditional remittances will be completely revolutionized.
