Just saw the group again talking about social mining and fan tokens. Honestly, the idea of “attention is mined” sounds pretty intriguing, but every time I click into those project pages, the first thing that pops up is a wallet authorization prompt… I, for one, get chills whenever I see new protocols requiring you to sign “unlimited approvals.” Seed phrases are an absolute red line—no matter how official the page looks, if it asks you to enter a seed phrase, treat it as a phishing site. A while back, a friend tried to farm a fairly popular social airdrop and accidentally clicked a spoofed signature pop-up. The gas fees weren’t much, but a few of the main positions in their wallet were swept clean. In plain terms, even if the attention economy is hot, don’t use your private key to gamble. This is far harder to repair than the “impermanent loss” people talk about.
