#PreIPOs第二期OpenAI认购

Little God of Wealth OpenAI one-share subscription tutorial and outlook analysis

Gate PreIPOs is back with more benefits. The last round of subscriptions for people who subscribed to SpaceX made a fortune—at an issuance price of 590U per share, it surged to nearly 1,200 USD at its peak after listing, and the returns doubled directly! This round’s subscription target is also this year’s hottest AI-track “unicorn” giant—OpenAI. The subscription price is 722 USD. I used 5 AI models to estimate OpenAI’s issuance price, and the results came out between 700 and 800, meaning this price is also very reasonable. I joined the subscription too—here are my experience and tips:

## 1. How to participate in this PreIPO?

First, the old standby: prepare enough USDT or GUSD, complete identity verification (KYC), and visit the URL https://www.gate.com/zh/ipos/21 to participate in the subscription. See the detailed terms for this subscription below:

· Subscription time: 15:00 on July 15 - 15:00 on July 17 (UTC+8)

· Subscription price: 1 OPENAI = 722 USDT

· Total allocation: 27,700 units; total value is about 20 million USD

· Minimum threshold: 100 USDT or 100 GUSD

· Subscription currency: supports subscription in both USDT and GUSD

· Per-person limit: 277 units (USDT pool cap 193.9 units, GUSD pool cap 83.1 units, about 200,000 USD)

· Subscription fee: this application waives implied trading fees and custody fees

· Pre-market trading: starts at 16:00 on July 20 (UTC+8)

· Unlock schedule: unlock 25% on July 17 → unlock 35% on August 17 → unlock 40% on September 17

## 2. Subscription tips and precautions?

1. The most important thing: start as early as possible. Because when the final subscription allocation is determined, the earlier you put in, the higher the weighting. The system calculates allocation weight based on “the average locked-in amount per hour.”

Example: same investment of 100,000 USDT

Put in during the 1st hour → average locked-in amount 100,000; highest weight

Put in after 24 hours → average locked-in amount 50,000; weight halved

Put in during the last hour → average locked-in amount about 2,083; extremely low weight

2. Best to use GUSD for subscription: users who subscribe with GUSD can also enjoy a 3.8% annualized minting yield. The yield is distributed automatically every day. GUSD supports redemption at any time, and the redemption fee is charged according to actual circumstances.

3. VIP user airdrop benefits: To celebrate OpenAI (OPENAI) going live on Gate Pre-IPOs, the platform has launched a VIP and super-agent-exclusive airdrop campaign. VIP5+ users and super agents can go claim it—after all, it’s free “free money.” You definitely should grab it.

4. “Sunshine for All” reward benefits: The platform provides rewards for users who participate in the subscription, based on the total subscription amount. For users who participate and successfully subscribe a total amount exceeding $10,000, each person can receive a 1 GT reward. For users who successfully subscribe a total amount below $10,000, they can jointly split a 2,000 GT reward pool equally. The rewards will be issued and distributed all at once when the first tranche unlocks. For users with sufficient funds, it’s recommended to subscribe as close to 10,000U as possible—at the very least, you’ll get a hearty plate of pork knuckle rice.

## 3. OpenAI outlook analysis

Finally, let me share my view on OpenAI’s future prospects. OpenAI secretly filed its S-1 with the SEC in June 2026, targeting a valuation of 1 trillion USD. Based on a valuation range of 7,500 billion to 1 trillion USD, and assuming the issuance of new shares accounts for 10%–15% of total shares, the official IPO offering price will most likely land in the 850–1,100 USD range.

But what’s even more worth paying attention to is the signal already given by the secondary market. On Bn, OpenAI perpetual futures were quoted at about 1,302 USD on July 7, 2026, down slightly by 0.64% from the previous trading day, but overall it has been trading in a range at high levels above 1,300 USD. This means that the true market pricing is already far ahead of the official offering price—investors are backing their expectations with real money, pricing OpenAI at far beyond a trillion-dollar valuation.

My judgment is: on the first day after the official listing, driven by institutional front-loading and retail FOMO sentiment, the opening price is highly likely to attempt to hit 1,100–1,300 USD, and in an extremely optimistic scenario it could even reach 1,500 USD. This isn’t blind optimism; it’s based on a comprehensive projection that considers the futures market having already priced it in, the Pre-IPO market Forge Global quote of 715 USD (corresponding to an 852 billion USD valuation) with still room for an upside premium, and the overall AI-sector sentiment remaining very hot.
