I just stumbled onto a liquidation scene—the price feed delay was terrifying. Even though the on-chain prices have already fallen like that, the oracle on the other side is still reporting a high level at an unhurried pace. In the end, a bunch of people got instantly liquidated into nothing but scraps. Honestly, someone like me who’s stingy to the bone on a normal day is most afraid of traps like this: you’re staring at the chart, but once the feed hiccups, the liquidation threshold is crossed straight away, and your face turns green. Things are chaotic on the macro front too—rate cut expectations are rising along with the U.S. Dollar Index, and risk assets are hopping around like crazy, making volatility even more unhinged. As for me, I’m on L2 right now or using account abstraction, and first I need to see what kind of oracle it uses—don’t pick one where the price feed is lagging by half a beat, or you’ll truly get turned into fresh greens in an instant. That’s it for now—I’m going to keep testing new chains.
