I just jumped into a Meme coin. And honestly, this whole “narrative” thing is like the vegetable patch of the village: whoever grows taller gets people running over to water it. The problem is, the narratives you hear are often already passed along three or five hands—by the time you enter, others are already getting ready to harvest.

I made myself a rule: watching Old Wang charge in, I wait two days before planting. The first thing I do after planting is to set up a stop-loss stake—like tying the seedlings to a support so they don’t get blown away by the wind.

Recently, those extreme funding-rate figures have been getting a lot of heat in the community. Some people think it’s the prelude to a reversal, while others say there’s still more bubble to squeeze. Either way, I don’t want to gamble. I’ll set a stop-loss the old-fashioned way. If a real reversal happens, I still have seeds to plant again; if it keeps squeezing, at least my little seedlings won’t rot.

At the end of the day, I no longer believe that narrative of “if others make money, you can too.” I can’t outrun the speed of people front-running—so I’d rather guard my own patch of land.
