Just saw someone in the group complaining that their transaction had been stuck for half a day without confirmation. The gas was set pretty high too, but it still wouldn’t go through. When the mempool is congested, to put it plainly, it’s basically a huge queue—if your “tip” isn’t enough, miners don’t even bother with you. Even more annoying is that those on-chain data tools that call themselves “real-time” may show congestion that’s already lagging by a few minutes. By the time you notice and try to adjust your gas, someone else has already cut in line and succeeded. I’m really just an ordinary person who’s always watching the timing—honestly, these days even waiting in the mempool queue feels like a psychological game: the more you’re desperate to leave, the more desperate the other side is.
