“Cash-grabbing” has really turned into “clocking in” now—task platforms are tightening up one grading system after another, down to a level even more granular than a company’s KPIs. The witch-screening is handled like a background check. I spent dozens of u on gas fees, waiting for confirmations for three hours—then when I looked, the score was failing, which is just outrageous. Lately, I’ve also been seeing people in the group arguing about the compliance boundaries for privacy coins and mixers. Put simply, it’s a battle of wills between compliance and decentralization, and nobody wants to be the first to back down. Anyway, I don’t really believe these scores can actually weed out real users—most of the time, they’re just a reason for the project team to shift the blame.
