Whenever I feel an itch to chase the pump, I ask myself one question: am I truly seeing some information I don’t know yet, or am I simply being driven along by FOMO emotions? The truth is, most of the time I can’t really tell. In any case, I stop first and take a look at the Fear & Greed Index and the funding rate before making a move.

Recently, I’ve been seeing retail traders vent about that miners’ MEV setup. People talk about it pretty heatedly—basically, everyone wants fair access to ordering rights. But even though the blockchain is transparent on-chain, people’s actions aren’t. I started recording how I feel before and after I get the urge. What I found is that the notebook itself isn’t magical—it just provides a comparison: when you write things down while you’re anxious, and then look back later, you can clearly see whether your face was flushed or your heart was racing at the time. Isn’t that just like looking at yourself in a mirror? It’s pretty interesting.
