Sigh, this whole “on-chain front-running” thing has been really annoying lately. Small funds are already like planting vegetables in a backyard—slowly watering, waiting for them to sprout. Then an MEV bot comes along, acting like an unreasonable neighbor and directly pinching off the tender little sprouts I just managed to get going. Gas fees have spiked insanely, and the slippage is also bad. I clearly wanted to buy something cheap, but instead got “cut in line” and harvested—really depressing.

But today I checked the funding rate, and it’s downright extreme. Everyone in the community is guessing whether there’ll be a reversal or whether the bubble will keep getting squeezed. I personally think that in situations like this, don’t rush to follow the trend—maybe the bubble is already in the late stages, and that could be a chance to pick up some cheap seeds. In any case, my strategy is: wait and stay put, with safety first—don’t let being front-run hurt the principal. There’s always a harvest when you plant vegetables. Just be patient and don’t make random moves—maybe next week you’ll start seeing some green shoots.
