This parallel sharding narrative is getting a lot of hype—endless scaling, TPS skyrocketing, and all that. Anyway, I don’t buy the “everlasting consensus” story. Put plainly, on-chain asset security and the exit path are what we should watch. Right now, a bunch of sharding projects have their liquidity broken up into tiny pieces; users move assets around and around, and in the end they can’t make it out—then it’s just funny. GameFi is even more typical: inflation, studios, and a spiral in coin prices—promised in extravagant terms. So what happened? Exiting is harder than climbing to the sky. Look at liquidity first—everything else is just fluff.
