Lately I’ve been feeling more and more that “harvesting” is just like clocking in for work: every day you wake up and it’s signing in on a task platform, doing a testnet, running cross-chain jobs, and accumulating points. And then you have to watch the anti-bot/anti-sybil rules all the time, afraid that the “plants” you worked so hard to grow will be treated as a “batch account” and get cut.
Once the scoring mechanism comes out, it’s basically like performance evaluations—you can’t even get an “excellent employee” award, and you’re left figuring out how not to be flagged as “abnormal behavior.”
To be honest, I really miss the earlier days when people just charged ahead purely on instinct, with none of these twists and turns. Now it’s all set up so that testnet incentives feel like temporary employment, and the points expectations are inflated like a year-end bonus. Who knows whether the mainnet will actually issue tokens? In any case, everyone’s gambling—win and it’s luck, lose and you just pay tuition. For now, that’s it. Let’s see how it goes.
