I just saw people in the group chatting about options—buyer and seller started arguing again. Honestly, this thing called time value: the buyer thinks it’s too expensive, and the seller basically lives off it. In plain terms, what the buyer bets on is direction plus explosive momentum, but theta every day keeps gnawing at the position, like bubbles in a fish tank—looks lively, but one poke and it pops. As for the seller, as long as there’s no black swan event, they can steadily collect rent.

Lately, people keep chasing memes—when big Vs shout, people rush in. I’m just cautious though. I’ve seen too many newcomers take the bait at the highs, then complain about the market. Instead of gambling on which coin will explode, it’s better to be a quiet seller and earn the money from time decay. It’s slower, but reliable.

Why not be the buyer?—Because I don’t want to stare at the chart every day, afraid theta will eat the principal to nothing.
