According to Beating monitoring, a Tom Ford black leather jacket that Huang Renxun wore in person and signed sold for $960k at Sotheby’s charity auction. The prior estimate was $40k to $60k, and the final price reached 16 times the top estimate.

Huang Renxun previously wore this leather jacket at the 2023 Hon Hai Tech Day. The appraisal agencies confirmed the item’s source through on-site photos, and the signature on the inside of the jacket was also verified through professional certification.

The black leather jacket has become Huang Renxun’s most prominent personal hallmark. This auction was initiated by the venture capital firm Long Journey Ventures, and the proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit Edge Institute to fund young entrepreneurs and researchers.
