USD1 turned in a solid performance in the first half of 2026. Its supply surged to more than $5.3B and it has already launched on more than 8 chains. Of particular note is its performance on Solana: its market cap jumped from $115 million to more than $1 billion in six months—nearly a 9x increase. This kind of pace is indeed rare in the stablecoin track.

WLFI Markets is another highlight. It went live on January 12; in the first two weeks, its supply already exceeded $310 million. As of today, the total market size has reached $734 million, with active borrowings of $262 million. With USD1 integrated into this ecosystem as a lending asset, it effectively gains a strong foothold in the DeFi credit market, and the scale it can unlock will continue to expand.

There was a landmark event in the first half: UFC Freedom 250 was held on the White House lawn, and fighter bonuses were paid directly in USD1, with national TV broadcast. Stablecoins moved out of the trading interface and into real-world payment scenarios—its significance is quite meaningful. The path to digitizing the dollar is gradually taking shape, and USD1’s role as infrastructure is also becoming even more secure.
