Zidane will officially take charge of the French national team this month

Romano said Zidane will lead the team in the UEFA Nations League after this, Euro 2028, and the 2030 World Cup.

After France were eliminated by Spain in the semifinals and missed the 2026 World Cup final, Deschamps—who has coached the team for 14 years—has officially entered the countdown to his departure.
