SlowMist founder Yu Xuan said on X that, after verification, the Trae plugin market has a “poisoning” issue, and some backdoor plugins are still being continuously updated. The screenshot he released shows that the relevant malicious plugins are suspected of disguising themselves as Solidity development tools. Yu Xuan reminded Trae users to install plugins cautiously, especially ones from unknown sources. So far, Trae’s official team has not responded to this.
