Risk of losing 7,002 Bitcoin entirely due to a USB that only has 2 password attempts left

Stefan Thomas, a developer who was paid 7,002 BTC (worth about $441 million) for the 2011 video “What is Bitcoin?”, is now facing the risk of losing all of this amount of assets.
All of the Bitcoin is stored in a branded encrypted USB from IronKey. However, the paper note with the password has been misplaced.
So far, Stefan has entered the wrong password 8 times in a row. Under IronKey’s security mechanism, the device only allows up to 10 attempts. If he gets it wrong 2 more times, the USB will automatically lock forever and delete all data inside. Many security experts and large technology teams (such as Naxo) have proposed assistance, but to date no one has found a safe solution.
