I’ve been lurking for a long time and looking into this, and when you re-stake it, to put it simply, it’s just stacking the security layers of a bunch of protocols on top of each other, and then telling you, “returns stack, and security stacks too.” Where does the stacked security come from? If any protocol fails, you’re the one who has to lose another layer of skin. Shared security? It’s basically a mirage. Lately, the group keeps going back and forth on rumors about stablecoin depegging—reserve audits turn out to be true or false, and once the emotions kick in, everyone starts panicking about finding liquidity again. In any case, I think when the returns are high, you should first figure out the path—so that later you don’t end up not even finding the door to exit.
