Looking up, you’ll always feel envy, resentment, and jealousy—when you see one mountain after another and feel like the grass on the other side is always greener, you can end up running yourself to death chasing what you think is higher.

Looking down, you’ll always see that all living beings suffer; and then, all at once, you feel that your own suffering is no longer suffering.
Isn’t a person’s whole life just like this—sometimes laughing at others, and sometimes being laughed at by others?
Don’t take everything too seriously, and that’s all there is.
