I just got stuck for a moment looking at the order book data, and someone in the group asked whether there’s a problem on-chain. In most cases, it’s probably an RPC rate limit at the Node or a Subgraph delay, and the indexer sync hasn’t caught up. Don’t panic every time it glitches, and don’t think “this is the opportunity, go all in.” In plain terms, that few seconds of data lag is enough for a market maker to run through several rounds of spreads. When the funding rate gets extreme, everyone always asks me if it’s a reversal—actually every time extremes hit, someone calls for a reversal, but every time there’s a new gimmick to burst the bubble. Don’t treat something simple as a trap; data lag could be the bait, waiting for someone to take the bag.
