A great company can still become a poor investment if its old growth engine slows before the new one is proven.

Netflix is a good example.

Its subscription business is still profitable, but growth is slowing.

So the company is now betting on:

• Live events
• Video podcasts
• AI-driven production efficiency
• Advertising

This is not very different from what happens in crypto.

When an old narrative loses momentum, the market quickly moves toward a new one:

AI, RWA, DePIN, gaming, restaking, or another growth story.

But a new narrative is not enough.

What matters is whether it can create:

• Real users
• Real revenue
• Better margins
• Sustainable demand

Investors often make the mistake of valuing the future before the new business has actually proven itself.

That is why “good company” and “good investment” are not the same thing.

The same applies to crypto.

A strong story may attract attention.

Only execution can justify valuation.

Which matters more to you: the narrative or the numbers?
