Tanzania is accelerating its AI deployment; localized development urgently needs to bridge the digital divide

In recent years, Tanzania has begun to accelerate its deployment of the artificial intelligence industry. From the government launching the formulation of a national AI strategy, to universities offering related courses, and to ongoing exploration of AI applications in sectors such as finance, healthcare, and agriculture, artificial intelligence is becoming a new growth engine for Tanzania’s digital economy.
