Just found something—when the data got stuck, my first reaction was, “Damn, the chain is clogged again.” Later I realized it was RPC rate limiting plus the indexer updating slowly. Seriously, when I usually look at the pool’s yield and click, it takes half a day—I thought it was my network. 😂 To put it plainly, the subgraph isn’t synced, or the node quota has been exceeded. It’s pretty annoying, but you get used to it.
The last time a cross-chain bridge was hacked and funds were stolen, I saw the on-chain data directly freeze, and I was really anxious. Later everyone just insisted on waiting until “confirmation” consensus came out before they dared to move. It kind of felt like the whole network was collectively taking a deep breath… Anyway, I’m the kind of person who watches the data a bit more when everything’s normal, and when it gets stuck I just close it and go catch some fish. Being a bit more Buddhist about it, honestly, helps.
Oh right—before, I followed a few tech accounts that analyze things every day, but later I realized I couldn’t even understand the titles of what they posted, so I quietly unfollowed them. Now I only keep a few that post staking yield every day. Nice and quiet.
