Every time it’s time to tidy up my transaction records at the end of the year, it’s a headache. On-chain and off-chain are mixed together—wallets + exchanges + all kinds of small protocols, and the data is so messy it looks like a junk pile. I’ve learned my lesson now: even if I only swap one trade in the meantime, I’ll take a screenshot and drop it into a local folder right away, and I’ll note the date and the trading pair. Otherwise, when it’s really time for tax filing, just finding one USDT outgoing transfer record could take hours—I’d completely lose my mind.

During the recent days when a certain chain upgrade caused downtime, everyone was speculating whether ecosystem projects might run away. But I think instead of worrying about those, I’d rather first save the txs from on-chain interactions. With expectations lowered, it’s a lot easier now. I don’t need every trade to be perfect—just don’t let myself get chased by audits and questioned. Thanks, and thank goodness.
