Mars Finance reports that on July 17, crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett posted on X that Republican members of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee will hold an in-person hearing in New York at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, focusing on how the CLARITY Act will drive innovation in the digital asset sector. This hearing is an informational session intended to collect industry input and discuss policy impacts, and it will not affect the Senate’s current review process for the bill. Meanwhile, the updated legislative text of the CLARITY Act has not yet been released. Eleanor Terrett cited industry sources saying that crypto industry leaders currently expect the updated text’s release date may be pushed back to next week.
