Mars Finance news, on July 17, the AI inference-focused startup General Compute has recently secured a $400 million loan provided by Upper90— the first financing deal using inference-dedicated chips as collateral. The company builds a dedicated cloud platform using SambaNova ASIC chips. General Compute completed a $15 million seed round in May, positioning for agent AI workloads, offering faster token processing speed and lower latency than traditional GPU clouds, and deploying in existing data centers including crypto mining facilities.
