Sigh, I’m testing out again today on the testnet to farm points, staring at the “practice” section’s airdrop expectations, and it suddenly feels a bit funny in terms of mindset. Even though I know it’s just a test, when the points go up I still can’t help wanting to push it; when they drop, I feel awful and heartbroken… In the end, I set myself a stop-loss: the time I spend can’t exceed the length of time I normally “mess around” during the day browsing cat pictures. If I lose, then I’ll just treat it as contributing to the on-chain ecosystem.

Recently, I’ve been seeing all the narratives around modular DA layers, and the developers are excited like it’s New Year’s. As for me, a regular user, I can only understand with a blank, clueless face. Anyway, whatever DA is—first I’ll make sure the testnet node I’m working on stays stable, so my points don’t get wiped out by a cat smacking the keyboard.

Honestly, I do envy those who manage to farm huge airdrops on the testnet, but I’m not envious to the point of jealousy. After all, they grinded it out by staying up late; meanwhile, my cat sleeps on the keyboard more comfortably than I do. Everyone’s got their own life.
