According to Livecoins, Brazil’s Ministry of Justice and Public Security has formed a strategic committee to combat organized crime. It has identified crypto assets, real estate, luxury car trading, and gas stations as areas vulnerable to illegal capital infiltration. The initiative will strengthen analysis of financial and property flows, improve data sharing among law enforcement, and support the recovery of assets; it plans to carry out 240 joint operations in 2026 and increase this to 270 in 2027.
