BlockBeats, July 17: Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett posted on X that Republican members of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee will hold an in-person hearing in New York at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, focusing on how the CLARITY Act will drive innovation in the digital asset sector. The hearing is an informational session, intended to gather industry input and discuss policy implications, and will not affect the Senate’s current review process for the bill.

Meanwhile, the updated legislative text of the CLARITY Act has not been released yet. Eleanor Terrett cited sources from within the industry, saying that crypto industry leaders currently expect the release of the updated text may be pushed back to next week.
