On July 17, U.S. stocks opened lower: the Dow Jones fell 0.24%, the S&P 500 index fell 1.15%, and the Nasdaq fell 1.8%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index dropped more than 3% and is about to enter a technical bear market.



According to BIT price data, individual stocks saw broad declines. Nvidia fell 2.2%, Qualcomm fell 3%, Intel fell 3.5%, Microsoft fell 1%, and SpaceX fell 3%. Meanwhile, Apple rose 0.05%, surpassing Nvidia and becoming the company with the highest market value globally.
