Golden Finance reported that on July 17, local time, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that on the night of the 16th, the U.S. military used its bases in Jordan to carry out attacks on non-military targets in southern Iran, including strikes on several bridges, residential areas, and a water-supply pump station in Abbas Port. In response, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked U.S. fighter jets and tankers deployed in Jordan in two stages using multiple ballistic missiles and several drones. The operation destroyed multiple U.S. tankers and fighter jets and caused extensive severe damage to many military aircraft. (CCTV News)
